【indications】
it is used for the short-term treatment of infections suspected to be caused by β-lactamase-producing amoxicillin-resistant bacteria; in other cases, amoxicillin alone should be considered：
- upper respiratory tract infections (including ear, nose and throat): e.g. sinusitis, otitis media, and recurrent tonsillitis.
- lower respiratory tract infections: such as acute attacks of chronic bronchitis (especially in severe cases) and bronchopneumonia.
- genitourinary tract and abdominal infections: such as cystitis (especially recurrent or complicated infections, excluding prostatitis), abortion infections, pelvic inflammatory disease or postpartum sepsis, abdominal sepsis.-skin and soft tissue infections: such as cellulitis, animal bites, severe gingival abscesses combined with cellulitis.
certain strains of the genus of bacteria responsible for the above diseases produce beta-lactamases that make them insensitive to the use of amoxicillin alone.
it can be used to treat mixed infections caused by amoxicillin-susceptible bacteria and β-lactamase-producing amoxicillin-susceptible bacteria. no additional anti-β-lactamase antibiotics are required for these infections.
【usage and dosage】
dosage for treating infection：
adults and children over 12 years of age: patients with severe infections (including chronic and recurrent urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections): 1 tablet twice daily. treatment may begin with an injection and continue with oral preparations. the course of treatment should be adjusted according to the symptoms. treatment with this product should not be more than 14 days without re-examination.
geriatric patients：无 no dose adjustment is required, except for those with significant renal insufficiency (see dosage for patients with renal impairment).
dosage for patients with renal impairment：no dose adjustment is required for patients with glomerular filtration rate > 30 ml/min. in patients with mild renal impairment (creatinine clearance > 30 ml/min), no dose adjustment is required.
dosage for patients with hepatic impairment：use with caution and monitor liver function regularly. there are insufficient data to support the use of the recommended dose in patients with hepatic impairment.for oral use: tablets should be swallowed whole, do not chew, or break in half and swallow if needed. taking at the beginning of a meal reduces gastrointestinal discomfort and allows for optimal absorption.
